The intranet is an interactive community website network, password protected and limited to resident use only. Residents can log on to intranet site at www.myeastbeach.com. The intranet is used by East Beach Company, the Property Owner’s Association Board, and the Property Manager to convey information to residents and property owners. Getting the word out
The primary means of communication is by E-mail. To be placed on the distribution list for the East Beach Company, social committee, Foundation, and the Beachcomber, sign up on the intranet at www.myeastbeach.com, and add your contact information under the “Resident Directory” tab. Information about upcoming meeting and events is also posted in the intranet, as well as on the bulletin board on the tower at the Bay Front Club.

The East Beach Property Owners’ Association governs the rules and regulations for East Beach residents. The East Beach Business District Association meets the needs of the commercial properties in East Beach. Both are members of the Neighborhood Association. East Beach Property Owners’ Association
All owners of land parcels in East Beach are automatically members of the Neighborhood Association upon transfer of title to the land, whether it is residential or commercial property. The Neighborhood Association maintains all of the common areas, including open space, alleys, parks and recreational facilities, the Bay Front Club, and also helps preserve neighborhood harmony by facilitating neighborhood discussion and enforcing the covenants when necessary.

POA Property Manager
United Property Associates has been retained by the East Beach Property Owner’s Association’s Board of Directors as the Association Manager. All questions and comments regarding use/rental of facilities, enforcement of regulations, and POA matters should be directed to the POC Association Manager’s attention.

POA Dues
POA dues are a quarterly assessment, used to fund the general operations of the East Beach Property Owner’s Association. The expenses include, but are not limited to landscaping, insurance, maintenance of private ways and recreational facilities, professional management, and annual audit of the books as well as postage and printing. Dues are paid January, April, July and October. (A notice of dues is sent to you from UPA.) Checks are made payable to East Beach Neighborhood Association, Inc. and mailed to:

East Beach POA Board of Directors
The East Beach POA Board of Directors is the governing body for the East Beach POA, conducts official East Beach POA business and consists of five members. The resident members are elected to 2 year terms.

Refer to the “East Beach Book of Operating Principles” which forms part of the “Declaration of Codes, Covenants and Easements for the Residential Neighborhood in East Beach”, for the formal rules. You should have received this document when you closed on your home. Additional copies are available at the East Beach sales office.
The East Beach Foundation
The East Beach Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization established to support the long term community values of East Beach. Funds from the Foundation are used to preserve and enhance the quality of life of the East Beach community through cultural, social, educational, philanthropic and environmental programs. Some examples of this might include musical events, films, lectures or poetry readings that are relative to the East Beach and Chesapeake Bay lifestyle. Some of the funds may also be used to help non-profit organizations in the Hampton Roads community.
